OMSI 2 is a highly detailed bus simulator. It does not use SLI technology and is CPU intensive so needs a high end CPU to run effictively. A lot of the previous bugs have been ironed out and for me it rarely if ever crashes. All the cockpit controls can be utilised, you can even switch on the heating! As for device support, TrackIR and Wheel support is also available which is a massive plus! Tutorials are available in the game and it is recommended to look at these before setting off on your own as there are lots of settings you need to know before you should dive in. The menus can be a bit confusing at first, for example if you have TrackIR and find it doesnt work you need to go to the menu in the bottom left and enable it. One thing that could be better improved is setting up a route or line, there is documentation out ther but this can get confusing so sometimes its easier to just take over an AI bus which is already setup. The camera views are great you got a large selection of views both internal and externally. You drive the first ever articulated bus in the OMSI history, the MAN NG272 and can explore the new omnibus line 5 covering a total distance of 12 km from the subway station Ruhleben to the psychiatric clinic Spandau. Thanks to the newly added chronology function you´ll not only be able to drive through Spandau in 1986, but also to relive the changes taking place in Spandau between 1986 and 1994.
Over 2 hours of OMSI 2 Let's play and review and DLC routes too.
DLC Packs are available on Steam but are rarely on sale. Currently a large number of DLC packs are available my favorite being the Berlin X10 and Vienna 2 Route. You can see them here on Steam. Recently realeased is also a pack of other AI vehicles including different models of cars and trucks. On the whole this is probably the Best Bus Simulator there is on the market, It's very detailed and in depth, if you are looking at other Bus Simulations I also recommend Bus Simulator 2016, not as detailed as OMSI but great career mode and fun too. Check out Bus Simulator 2016 here.
